your color studies are seriously beautiful! I'm in a light and color design class at pratt institute, and im pretty sure your work summarizes everything we've learned this semester, haha =)

Thanks guys!

Kyle, the rock demo was based on this painting after my friend asked me about how i painted.

Paul, I should have went to Pratts for schooling i might have gotten an A+ in that class? =p

JP, Ill try to compile something instructive in the coming months about masks, pen tool and a few other things.

Hey there ol roomie!
Your stuffs lookin fantastic. Love your strong sense of composition and playful use of color. The little ducky is my fave. I love ducks.

When are you gonna buy a cintiq? Its a must for a painter like you, but you probably know that dont you?

May 29, 2009 | Unregistered Commenterwinchester

thanks again guys.

Mr Breadcrumbs, Im fine. Lots of stuff to figure out when i get back to canada!

Winchester, i like rubber ducks as you can see. I dont think im gonna buy a cintiq anytime soon. Not until they make the technology better. Ill probably buy a new intuous tablet soon though. Theres a few reasons why i stick to tablets. Cintiqs are big, bulky and heavy. The screen is too hot and makes my hand sweat. I hate having my hand cover the painting while i paint and many other reasons idont really want to get into here =p. I do like the idea for cintiqs though but it doesnt work for me just yet. Ive used cintiqs on a few different projects so far and i always go back to tablets. Just my opinion!
