Ben, you most definitely have a unique style. Your artwork is awesome because it looks like no other I’ve seen. The colors are muted washes. The subtle colors relate to gray scale and blacks. The titles are clever and thought provoking. “Artichoke Soup” sounds strange, but this is a tasty blend from the gorgeous colors to the intricate draftsmanship . I read the other comments and your followers love you. I take it that you are very popular in London Art circles. I think that there is another attribute to your work. It is introspective and thought provoking. There is a feeling of aloneness. The air is heavy with clouds, a lightning strike slices the air. Your other art is just as thought provoking. I think your art is intense, beautiful and a touch unnerving. You found a way to touch the viewer in that secret dark place of where artistic beauty and the macabre blend beautifully.

Ben, For past two years I've been writing and designing a book on the Duarte family and the history of the restaurant. My boss -- Kathy Duarte -- and I want to use your beautiful illustration ("Artichoke Soup") for the title page. I'm asking permission to do so; I will print appropriate credit. This is a timeless, almost mystical piece and perfectly fits the story detailed in the book. Looking forward to hearing from you.
